CED’s Admission Policy
We seek students with the following qualities for admission:
Knowledge and Skills, Interest and Motivation
Students who have a certain level of knowledge in the field of specialization in humanities, social sciences, human sciences, and other related fields, and who, after entering the program, are highly motivated to contribute proactively to the formation of a sustainable society by pursuing research aimed at solving regional issues from a comprehensive and global perspective, with a focus on their area of specialization.
Ability to Think, Judge, and Express
Students who can accurately grasp various information, identify issues, create ideas to solve them based on logical thinking and appropriate judgment, and express them logically and in an easy-to-understand manner.
Attitude to Learn Proactively in Collaboration with Diverse People
Students who value their own interests but have the intellectual tolerance to accept diverse ways of thinking, and who can proactively work to solve public social issues in Public Policy and Public Relations, Economics and Management, Language and Representation, Culture and Environment, and Clinical Psychology, while collaborating with people from diverse fields and specialties.

Please send the application materials to the address below by registered express mail within the designated period. For application, download the application form from the Current Students page and print out the form to submit.

- If you wish to receive the past exam questions, e-mail the Academic Affairs Section at ktgakumu@acs.u-ryukyu.ac.jp. Please include your name, the questions you wish to take (common questions and elective questions), the name of the program you are interested in, and the name of the course you are interested in (please indicate the undecided part as such). We will send you a PDF file by e-mail.
- However, for elective subjects, no past exam questions may be available if no examinees existed in the past or if the exam questions contain the copyrighted materials.
- Personal information obtained will be used only for the purpose of managing data and confirming the status of the applicant’s application for the examination, and will not be provided to any third party or used to determine whether the applicant has passed or failed the examination.
